Altered Egos features three portraits, two of my nieces and one of my nephews, reimagined as superheroes. Woven into fractals radiating from the center, my intent is to create an outward dynamic flow of energy depicting power and strength. It is an homage to young individuals who face crippling self-doubt in a time of great uncertainty, reframing personal struggle not as weakness, but as a call to adventure in one's own classic ‘Hero’s Journey.’
